General QueriesCan I use PayPal 'Pay in 3'?
Yes. I understand times are tough for officer pay and it's why Rank Success offers the best available leadership and promotion content for the best value, and I rarely increase prices. What is the CVF?
UK police forces all now use a variation of the Competency and Values Framework (CVF) to assess promotion candidates. The CVF is simply a mechanism articulating the behaviours policing wants from its leaders, which allows candidates to be more objectively assessed against the relevant 'Level' (usually Level 2 for those in the Federated ranks). Note that some forces choose to tailor the CVF for local needs, for example the Met Police use bespoke local 'value'. However, the essence of police leadership and the role-specific, tried and tested materials I provide in my guides and masterclasses stand the test of time and will help you prepare effectively for your force promotion process. Police Promotion GuidesIs my force promotion framework included?
Yes! Different forces have different processes in place at different times for different ranks. The main competency (behaviour) frameworks in use for UK police promotion across England, Wales, Police Scotland and PSNI is the Competency & Values Framework (CVF). My premium materials cover this extensively and in depth, for both the "old" 2016 CVF and "new" 2024 CVF. Also included for context and to aid wider preparation are some of the additional, previously-used behavioural frameworks; plus ca change! The guides also recognise the differences in local processes being conducted by different forces (e.g. assessment tests, applications, presentations and interviews). Do you have all relevant questions to practice?

Cops often comment how their Board had the exact questions I provide (I think forces even use it for ideas!). Do I need to register or have a login / password?

No. These are for your personal use on your own personal device, like an iPad or laptop. Police IT systems are also set up to block such transactions or downloads. How long can I access the guides I bought?
As long as you like! Just save the PDF on your device and it's yours. Rank Success believes in value for money and that unlike online learning platforms, you should be able to access the information you bought at your leisure and be able to navigate sections quickly. No, they are digital guides. They are delivered quickly and securely for you to download to your chosen reader. This protects the copyright and allows me to give the best value for officers. Can I share the guide or any of the content?
No. All material is copyright protected and so any sharing with others is illegal and strictly prohibited. Should someone ask you for a copy, please advise them to download for themselves. No. I refresh my content regularly to keep with changing promotion processes, priorities and common leadership focus areas. The edition you buy is the very best content that will serve you for years to come and my customers often use for multiple promotions. Just as you don't receive a new edition of a physical book for free, or the remake of an older film, you're not automatically entitled to get my new and improved eBooks / videos for free. 1. Ensure you have enough storage space on your chosen device and it is compatible with MP4 video files. You'll need just under 2GB for the masterclass itself, plus 0.5GB for the CVF Explainer). Check this in your device's settings and have a clear-out if necessary before attempting to purchase my video. Also check your device is compatible with MP4 video files. A test MP4 video file can be downloaded below, it is a one minute snippet of a prior version of my Masterclass. 2. When you know your device can accommodate the file type and size, purchase the product and download to your device. You will be emailed a download link for the video and associated 'Exclusive Insights' document. Click the link to download the items on your chosen device. 3. Watch and enjoy! Get a notepad ready and press play. Pause, rewind or replay at any point, like any other video. If your device and smart TV allow screen casting / mirroring, feel free to watch it that way. 
Compatibility & download times
The video masterclass is an MP4 file, the most commonly compatible video file across all devices. You must however ensure your chosen device can play MP4 video files: Most major Windows, Apple, Android, and others are compatible by default, though some people might have unusual settings or an older model device (e.g. old Chromebook). Even if you have an older device, there are many apps to choose from in your device's 'App Store' to enable you to play such files through the app; explore yours! A test MP4 video file is provided above if you are still unsure. You also must have enough storage space. At least 2GB for the 720p HD version. Typical download times range from 10-15 minutes for these file sizes, it all depends on your internet speed. | ||
